Yes. We have in-house CNC machining, precision cutting, and slitting capabilities to manufacture insulation components to customer-supplied drawings and specifications. This includes machined pressboard components, cut-to-size laminate sheets, custom FRP profiles, and slit paper rolls in custom widths. For a standard oil-immersed distribution transformer (11 kV/0.433 kV), the insulation system typically requires: electrical grade kraft paper and crepe paper for winding insulation, calendered or pre-compressed pressboard for main insulation barriers between HV and LV windings, diamond dotted paper for inter-layer insulation (epoxy bonded), and electrical densified laminated wood for clamping frames. Both FR-4 and G-10 are glass fibre reinforced epoxy laminates with similar mechanical and electrical properties. The key difference is flame retardancy — FR-4 has a UL94 V-0 flame retardant formulation while G-10 does not. For most electrical applications including switchgear and panel insulation, FR-4 is preferred due to fire safety requirements. G-10 is used where flame retardancy is not required and cost is a consideration. Both are available in our glass composite sheets range.
Yes. We have dedicated product lines for the renewable energy and EV sectors. Our EV motor insulation materials include high-temperature slot liners and phase barriers for traction motors. For renewable energy, we supply solar inverter insulation for high-voltage DC applications and wind turbine generator insulation using thermally stable Class F and Class H composite materials rated for extreme operating cycles.
